Most people who call me have already been somewhere else.
That’s not a complaint about other practices. It’s just what happens when someone has been thinking about Botox or filler for a while. They book somewhere convenient, have a fine experience, and then find themselves wondering whether it should have felt more considered than it did.
So here’s what I’d ask if I were the one shopping. These are the questions that actually tell you something.
Who Is Performing the Injection?
Not who owns the practice. Not whose name is on the door. Who is holding the syringe when you’re in the chair.
At a lot of medical spas, the answer is a registered nurse or a nurse practitioner working under a physician who reviews charts remotely. That arrangement is legal and common, and plenty of skilled injectors work that way. But it’s worth knowing which one you’re walking into, because most practices don’t volunteer it.
I perform every injection at Ageless Beauty Doctors myself. I’m a board-certified internal medicine physician, I trained at the Cleveland Clinic, and I spent more than a decade as a hospitalist before I opened this suite. Dosing and facial anatomy are medical decisions to me, and I treat them that way.
Will the Same Person Treat You Next Time?
This one matters more than people expect.
Injecting a face well depends on knowing that face: how you healed last time, where you hold tension, and what a small change did six months ago. When the injector rotates, that history lives in a chart instead of in someone’s hands, and the result can drift.
My team is small on purpose. You see the same faces each visit, and they remember what you had done.
Who Writes the Plan, and Do You Get It in Writing?
Ask whether you’ll leave with a written sequence, a timeline, and the cost of each step.
If the answer is a package price with a number of sessions attached before anyone has looked closely at your skin, that’s a sales structure, not a treatment plan. At Ageless Beauty Doctors, nothing is bundled and nothing renews. You get a plan on paper, and you decide what you want to do with it.
What Happens If You Want It Adjusted?
Any honest injector will tell you that results vary between people and sometimes between appointments. What matters is whether there’s a clear way to reach someone afterward.
You can text my practice at the same number you booked through. Not a portal, not a general inbox. The number is (216) 202-4261.
Will They Tell You No?
This is the question I care about most.
Part of my job is saying that a treatment won’t fix the thing that’s bothering you, or that you don’t need what you came in asking for. That conversation is uncomfortable to have, and it costs me a booking. It’s also the difference between someone who is treating you and someone who is selling to you.
You are always welcome to leave my office with nothing more than an honest read on your skin.
Where We Are
I see patients at Salon Lofts in Fairview Park, about eight to ten minutes from Rocky River by I-90 or Detroit Road, and a short drive from Westlake, Avon, Bay Village, and Lakewood. Parking is free.
If you want to start with a conversation rather than a treatment, book a consultation or text (216) 202-4261.
