Step 3: Treatment

Depending on what the assessment shows, your first session may be laser, a peel, or a combination. Most laser sessions for pigmentation take 20 to 40 minutes. There is no general anesthesia and no sedation — a topical numbing cream is applied if needed.

Step 4: Aftercare and Monitoring

Sun protection is non-negotiable after any pigmentation treatment.
